Mobile Software Developer

Job summary:

Overview

This is a career opportunity for an experienced software engineer with a background in mobile applications development. Location:

Indianapolis – Hybrid both on-site and work form home as needed.

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities:

The company provides service in the travel-related industry.
The mobile applications interface to this system to enable client users to access itineraries, trip data, etc. through an application that is downloaded for the App Store.
Current applicaation is built on React Native; will consider skills with other mobile development tools.
This position will work with the company’s technical leadership and company management to build improved interfaces, new features, deployments, and improve overall reliability.

Skills and Competencies:

To be successful in this role, we believe the best candidate will have these technical and interpersonal skills:

Technical:

• Three or more years of experience as a full-time software engineer, focused in mobile applications development
• Knowledge of best practices in software development
• Technical experience coding in React native highly preferred; experience with other mobile programming tools for both IoS and Android phones will be considered
• Additionally, experience in C# and Azure dev ops would be beneficial
• Highly preferred – prior experience of successfully deploying products to app stores
• Additional plus – experience with Over the Air (OTA) updating
• Familiarity with connecting applications to API’s
• Relevant degree highly preferred
