Principal Software Engineers

Job summary:

This is a technology leadership role! We are seeking the highly experienced individual who can provide technical guidance and thought leadership when it comes to building highly successful and stable industry products. Are you “the best of the best?”

Location:

Remote – but highly desired to be in the midwest or Eastern time zone.

Job Duties:

This person will play a very critical role in the technical design and execution of software product development. You will be a thought leader and potential mentor to your product team. Tasks may include:

• Be a key contributor to the technical designs
• Work with Product Management and other departments to define design characteristics and technical components
• As needed, research and recommend technology solutions
• Drive the current generation of product and assist in next-generation planning
• Assist in architectural selections
• Mentor and encourage team members to product their best quality
• Bottom line – be the smartest person

Requirements:

This position is for the individual who knows that they are the best at what they do, and can prove it in a professional manner.
The successful candidate will be highly experienced in multiple aspects of software development, including:

• Solid experience in full stack development – at this level, it should not matter which OO tools you have worked with, because you can quickly learn anything new
• Experience with SaaS tools and concepts, such as:
  • Design patterns
  • API development
  • Data design concepts
  • Cloud solutions – AWS
  • Agile methods and concepts
